Flourish!!

7.1.11-
  Happy July everyone!!
I love this month & all that it has to offer- BBQ's, The 4th of July, fireworks, warm summer nights, enjoying the outdoors & swinging on the porch swing in the afternoons- ahhh!

Just wanted to share an exciting project I am busy working on today. I'm really feeling my One Little Word for 2011 active in my life lately. I absolutely love it & am embracing all that it is bringing into my life!! :)

I was asked by a sweet friend to decorate a wedding shower for her that she is throwing this evening
{thank goodness the weather is nice today since it's outside}

I'm so excited for the opportunity & grateful that she thought of asking me to do it for her. I so appreciate her
{& was very flattered}
when she asked how much I would charge. WOw!!
{to do something I love to do & get paid for it too- so nice!!
She has been so open to letting me create whatever I want to go along w/ the "Anthro" inspired shower theme -
HELLO... right up my alley!
-lots of blooms made out of yellow pages, cupcake liners, coffee filters & books will be placed everywhere. They all turned out so cute!-
I've enjoyed crafting with Miss Mace, making things to put here & there & looking around my house to see what to take with me to decorate & just how to display each table.
{yes, each table will be different & unique- Eclectic love!}
-My basement has turned into the "staging area" & this display is what I'm envisioning for the buffet table.  Frames on the table & then lots & lots of levels to set all the food on.  There will be big branches coming out of the metal can like here-

Don't worry.. I'll for sure take lots of pictures to share. Ok, back to packing it all up & getting ready for my 1st official  event decorating "Gig"
{Eeeee- I'm giddy!!}

I just came from Lesa's blog to check out your flourish-ing! I hope you post pictures of how the shower turned out. That's cool that you got paid for the decor. I'm having a shower for my daughter on Saturday! We're also decorating her reception ourselves. Since I'm not creative, this is going to be great! :)
